RoomCart turns a photo of your room into an AI redesign and matching retailer options. We use your data to run that service — not to sell it. Photos are private by default and are used to generate your room plans. AI processing runs through service providers needed to provide the feature. Your photos are not used for model training unless you opt in, and you can delete your account at any time.
This Privacy Policy explains what information RoomCart (“RoomCart”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use the RoomCart app, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to the RoomCart iOS app and this website.
We use your data to create and authenticate your account, generate AI room designs from your photos, present regional retailer options, manage RoomCart Pro subscriptions and credits, provide support, and keep the service secure and working. We do not sell your personal data and we do not use your photos for advertising.
Photos are private by default and are used to generate your room plans. When you generate a plan, your room photo is sent through our secure server to the AI service provider needed to produce the redesign. The “improve results” option is off by default — your photos are not used to train models unless you explicitly opt in. Deleting your account removes your uploaded photos from our active systems.

RoomCart is a planner, not a store. Retailer options are links to regional retailer searches or pages. When you tap through, you leave RoomCart and the retailer collects information under their own policy. Prices, stock, delivery, returns, and exact specifications are confirmed on retailer sites, and we do not receive your payment details.
For users in the EEA and UK, we process data to perform our contract with you (running the app), for our legitimate interests (security and improving the service), and with your consent where required (for example, the opt-in results improvement).
We keep your account data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we remove your uploaded photos, generated plans, preferences, and account data from our active systems. Some data may persist briefly in encrypted backups before rotation.

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections and stored with access controls scoped to your account. Provider secrets such as AI keys are held server-side and never shipped in the app. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your data.
RoomCart is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your region) and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Your data may be processed on servers outside your country by us or our providers. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can delete your account in the app; for anything else, contact support@roomcart.app.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “Last updated” date.
